Out of Opening Hours

A Full Service is available from the Out of Hours Doctors at Waters Meeting Health Centre

Please call 01204 386655 to access help out of hours, for any worrying symptoms such as children and the elderly with high temperatures, signs of infection or pain, rather than waiting for the surgery to re-open

Please ensure you have enough of your regular medication as the out of hours service is not set up to offer routine repeat prescriptions.

For emergencies ring 999 or attend Accident and Emergency

When requesting a visit at any time the receptionist will need to ask you for full details of the patient's name, age, address and telephone number, and the reason for the visit. This information is essential to plan calls and deal with emergencies promptly.

A Full Service is available from the Out of Hours Doctors at Waters Meeting Health Centre.  When the surgery is closed at nights, weekends and bank holidays you may be asked to attend the 'Out of Hours Centre' at Waters Meeting by appointment or to be visited by one of the doctors from the centre. There  is also a nurse-led walk-in service for health advice and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries at Lever Chambers Centre for Health, Ashburner Street, Bolton (01204 872725), which is open from 8.30am to 7.00pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 4.00pm at weekends.
